311 Provides information on services from and for your city whereas 211 provides health and human services from any level of government.
Services that you will have access to through 311: go to their website, scroll down, and you will find, on the right side of the screen, all the services offered, from animal control, reporting a traffic light outage, reporting potholes, non-emergency police department, neighborhoods center, and/or COVID-19 information.
Need mental health assistance? Dial 311 and you will be redirected to a crisis line to assist you.

211 If you need services and/or information on food pantries, any health and human service, housing, SNAP, mental health help, dial 211 to speak with someone or go to their website. Currently 211 is working alongside FEMA, assisting those who were impacted by the winter storm in Texas.
FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) offer a variety of assistance to those affected by a disaster. To find specific information, visit their website or give them a call (see left panel for contact information).
